Method


The basic porridge is made with oats, salt and water.

  1. Add half a cup full of oats to a pan, with a pinch of salt
  2. Add one cup of water
  3. Bring to the boil and simmer for 10 mins adding extra water as needed to the consistency you require.

Sweet Porridge

Add anything sweet that you fancy from sugar to nuts.
Top with milk, cream, soya or oat milk.

Sultanas
Raisons
Chocolate
Nuts
Syrup
Treacle
Etc

Savoury Porridge

This might seem a little odd but give it a try. Top with milk, cream, soya or oat milk.

Nuts
Soya Sauce
Avocado
Miso
Pumpkin
Squash
Spring Onions
Fried Onions
Etc
