Left over Mashed Potatoes - Make Patties
April's Guest Cook - Lou Folkard's kitchen tip is to next day fling mash potato into a frying pan and squash it down to about a 1-2cm thick pattie, and fry until crispy underneath then flip it over and cook that side.

We've even given an approximate cost for each portion based on what's on the shelves at local shops, including the Spar, the Co-op and Alston Wholefoods. Hopefully there is something to suit all tastes. We try to add new recipes as often as possible so there is always something new and fresh up here.

Our parcels are delivered by appointed volunteers who will respect your confidentiality and privacy. We will either deliver to your house or somewhere more private, so no one needs to know you are getting a Foodbank parcel.
