The wonderful fixer of all things old and new at Alston Men's Shed have one just like this to lend out. It's been donated, they have fixed it and pat tested it so it's electrically safe. It can be loaned out to anyone on Alston Moor, who can't afford a replacement. Then give it back and we can lend it out to someone else.
It's got an instruction book too.
They are open every Saturday and Wednesday.
