Thank you for the support

We at Alston Moor Foodbank are very grateful indeed for the generous donation of £250 from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons, as a part-share of £4,000 going to sixteen food banks across the County.
The contributions from the local Masons, and now from the larger organisation, will make a huge difference to local families struggling with food poverty. This help has never been more urgent.
The donation will be used to buy food parcels. As we have no local storage facility, we buy as needed for each customer. The cost-of-living crisis has meant that many more people are in financial difficulties, and many find it hard to admit it. Our local foodbank is available for anyone in need.
How to get involved
You can help too by either donating to the Foodbank yourself or by getting involved with helping us distribute food parcels, by helping populate the website and the Facebook pages or by just being supportive.
