  1. Place a frying pan on medium heat then add olive oil to the pan.
  2. Add in chopped onions and saute for a minute or till translucent then add in chopped garlic.
  3. Pour in the chopped tomatoes, Italian seasoning, black pepper, stock cube, and salt. Stir and cook on medium heat for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Add the sardines to the pot and gently stir.
  5. It's optional to drain if using canned sardine in olive oil but if it's in brine, drain it. If you feel the olive oil is a lot, you can drain some or all of it.
  6. On another stove ring, add water to a deep pot, and bring to a rapid boil. Add salt, then add the pasta. Stir and cook till the pasta is al dente or to how you prefer it.
  7. Drain the spaghetti in a colander.
  8. Add the spaghetti to the sardine sauce and stir till mixed.
  9. Be careful not to overly break the sardines.
  10. Take off the heat, and serve. If serving Parmesan, sprinkle it on and enjoy.
