Bubble and squeak is reputed to be on of the best British dishes ever!!

It's great for making the most of left over potatoes and vegetables. Traditionally it is made with mashed potatoes and cabbage.There are many more things that can be added but the principles are the same.

  1. Add a small amount of oil to a frying pan. Bring it up to temperature
  2. Add your potatoes, mashed or small cubes. - either/or it doesnt matter.
  3. Add the veg.
  4. Fry until golden brown
  5. Season to taste with salt and peer
  6. Serve

To jazz it up a bit, you can add bacon cubes, left over meat, fry and egg and add it when plating up. Have fun adding your own variations.
